Privacy Policy

As an app with the goal of making food more accessible and ensuring anonymity throughout this process, we take privacy very seriously. Mellons does not collect any personally or individually identifying data.

If you choose to use the rating feature in the app, we automatically generate a UUID (v4). This UUID, along with any ratings you make, is sent to our servers. It cannot be used to identify you.

The app also contacts our servers using a basic web request, only to fetch the list of schools, locations, and to check user ratings.

On the website, we use a self-hosted version of Plausible for lightweight analytics.

We retain the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time.
